Students should be given a choice on whether to write the exam before school ends or after. We also need to be able to choose whether the exams are on paper or this new digital format. The digital format has many limitations that can hinder one’s performance, and they have not been proven to be successful or a positive experience for students. 

Many students especially the senior class have made it known that they would much rather take their exams before school ends and do not want to worry about exams during the summertime. There is also a need for exam scores earlier rather than later to select college classes. The dates the district has chosen for our exams provide a lot of inconvenience to many students. 

The format of the AP exams this year is extremely important, as we have had a strange school year it is fundamental that students feel comfortable going into exams. Every exam looks different online and last year the digital exams caused students a lot of stress and anxiety. All students should be able to have a fair chance at this year's exams. 
The college board is hosting multiple exam dates to provide flexibility for students, not give them more stress, PAUSD should take this into account and re-evaluate the current AP testing format.
