Pauline Hanson is currently leading the polls as the country's most preferred Prime Minister.

One Nation's own policy position on health pulled from their webpage titled "SLASH GOVERNMENT WASTE", claims that they want to "review" $3 billion worth of medicines added to the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme “during the pandemic”.

This may include Forxiga - a heart failure medication, or cannabidiol to treat a rare, severe form of childhood epilepsy.

It may also include Calquence for mantle cell lymphoma or Rinvoq for severe atopic dermatitis.

While more needs to be done, our PBS system is one of the key reasons why our healthcare system is the envy of the world. 

If Pauline Hanson wants to become Prime Minister of this country, please explain:

1. Which medicines are in your crosshairs?
2. What illnesses are worthy of subsidised medication, and which are not?
3. How much more in will Australians have to pay for their medications after your "review"? 

It's no secret Pauline is inspired by Donald Trump, having recently dined with him at Mar-a-Lago. One Nation has previously met with lobbyists from the National Rifle Association, seeking to water down Australia's gun laws. 

Is Australia's healthcare system something else she wants to Americanise?

Pauline Hanson and her One Nation MPs must front the media at their earliest opportunity and explain this policy in detail so Australians can make an informed decision about their healthcare choices when they go to the ballot box.

Australians deserve better than a future where medical bankruptcy becomes the norm.
