In these days of covid lockdowns, good broadband is an absolute necessity. We use it to keep in touch with family and friends, to work from home, for children's school work, for shopping and for entertainment. For us in Redworth most of these things are difficult and some are impossible. 

In Redworth we have really poor broadband. Today's speed test for Redworth is 1.63Mb download and 0.57Mb upload. This is better than yesterdays test. Average download speeds in urban areas in the UK at peak times are 30Mb plus. We have been left behind. 

We desperately need improved broadband, life in lockdown is hard enough. It would be unimaginably heartbreaking should a family member be admitted to hospital with covid and our speeds were not enough to zoom or even to zoom without connection problems.
