12TH UPDATE ON GOLBORNE St THOMAS SCHOOL PETITION FEBRUARY 23RD BOLLIN TEACHERS STRIKING! I answered the comments of Michelle Fletcher and Fiona Helen Glover on Facebook, concerning my opinion (in the 11th Update) that the Headship of St Thomas Primary School should have been advertised as soon as the School Governors became aware that Mrs Brindle was leaving the School. I wish to thank them for forcing me to reassess my real mistake, which was my concern about the reputation of the Church and School. I have worked alone for eighteen months with minimal assistance of those people whose responsibility was, without a doubt, to have supported their community wholeheartedly. Throughout, I have tried to protect the Church and School to the detriment (I am sorry I have let you down) of the people who were destroyed by the actions or inaction (you can use your own definition of inaction). What is more important, to act for the REAL victims or the soiled reputations of the people who assisted Brindle? What was the purpose of the Petition, if my memory serves me, to reinstate the St Thomas Amateur Dramatic & Operatic Society, and later to provide a vehicle for the Staff and Parents to air their grievances? Taking the staff and parent grievances first, only a few brave souls put their heads above the parapet, (it was and still is a war), many others were far too frightened. Bollin teachers are on strike today 23rd September, (see Manchester Evening News) supported by the 150+ strong ‘Bollin Parent Engagement Group’. The Drama Group is more complicated, I still don’t understand Brindle’s thinking! We might as well cut to the chase. There are a number of people supposedly negotiating on behalf of the Drama Group. The Secretary of Drama Group who had a number of opportunities to damage Brindle, but none of them were taken, it’s not all her fault, two of her Drama Group colleagues were banging the drum, but when threatened ran for cover. Not one of the Councillors, never once, put up a fight. The Reverend John Reed, John read a diocesan letter to the congregation that said that the Drama Group cancelled the 2016 pantomime only giving vague reasons yet the real reason was never voiced – that Brindle would not give John a key to the Parish Hall. Even taking this into consideration, how can John negotiate on behalf of an organization which he is no longer a member of, against the School Governors, of which he is a very important member? The mind boggles. John and Ghislaine were humbly requested in the 9th Update in September 2016 to say who they were negotiating with, but for some unknown reason they declined. Strange and secret = WHAT? Brindle has gone but the poison persists. Mrs Woods was Brindles right hand throughout the carnage of the Staff and Parents, Drama Group and Nursery destruction, as were John Reed and Ruth Reed not forgetting the enabling help given to Brindle by Councillor Richard Barber (against the expressed wishes of the overwhelming majority of his constituents). There you have it; Brindle’s team is alive and well and functioning as efficiently as ever. No wonder they have no intention of advertising for a New Head Teacher, who would in all probability sweep the place clean. These people will no doubt attempt to portray themselves as the victims; the VICTIMS are Caroline Morris, Angela Walker, Jenna Lowe, Harriet Chen, Barbara Taylor, Donna Cunliffe, the nursery toddlers etc, etc! I am sick of pointing out, please refer to updates, there is Right and there is Wrong and some people, mostly, in authority are unable to distinguish between them – they employ Grey areas as a means of camouflaging the Wrongs committed – in order to make the general public believe that they never happened and, that, if they did, then, they certainly were and are in no way responsible for them, heaven forbid! They are blessed with selective memories; it is a pity that Caroline, Angela, Jenna, Harriet, Barbara, Donna and many, many others cannot understand or forgive these biased uncaring opinions. My people who have cleared Update 12 have asked me to point out that none of my family has been hurt by these people. With me it is just that I loathe INJUTICE especially COLLUSION. She’s Gone!
