I would like to solve the problem of habitat destruction for the very large numbers of endangered species in my home city, Toowoomba. There are around 50 endangered species in Toowoomba and I am here to stop the rapid increasing numbers of endangered animals, before they become extinct. These endangered animals include birds, mammals, insects and reptiles. Help save our endangered animals from extinction. I have read a novel called 'Bookshop Girl' by Chloe Coles and in the book they make a petition as well. If they were able to achieve the total of 1000 signs, they were able to confront their local government about their argument. This is where I got the idea to start petition and my goal is to share my problem to the Toowoomba government. I would tell the government that many species are quickly becoming extinct on their watch. Our animals should be protected as much as the local residents of this city. The animals are losing habitat because of water loss and trees being cut down. The government should ask the community around the area before they take action clearing the land when many homes are made. Take a stand with me! Save our animals!
