…35,000 signatures please.  That’s right.  Got my big 4-0 coming up on July 1st.  So can you help me achieve this goal please?

Construction of the new marine park visitor centre is making progress. And, recently I met with the AFCD at their warden post in Hoi Ha.  They wanted to show me what they planned to do for a permanent educational exhibit of marine waste. I am encouraged by what I saw, but I am waiting further details about it.

Following that meeting something amazing happened. A massive wave of support washed over.  So much that by the time we got to seven days since that meeting, we went from 8,000 to over 28,000 signatures.  Now we are approaching 35,000 in just two weeks.  I don't know what you did, but thank you with all my heart. 

But please do not let up the pressure.  Without it, the government will never clean up their act and provide us with the infrastructure we need to become a green city as opposed to the world's most wasteful.

And for my birthday I plan to join the annual July 1st march in the name of “safeguarding the ecological integrity” of our natural environment.  Because, it is about time the Environmental Protection Department got with the times and banned disposable plastics now. 

So, will you please join me in Victoria Park on July 1st?

我40歲的生日願望是35,000個 聯署.對! 我生日正正是7月1日,所以希望大家一齊幫忙達成.

新嘅海岸公園遊客中心工程現正進行中. 另外, 近期我係海下同漁農自然護理署負責人見面,. 佢地打算展示佢地計劃點樣去著手辦理一個有關海洋垃圾嘅教學展覽. 我非常感動, 但再進一步嘅消息仲係有待公佈.

伴隨著上星期令人振奮嘅會議消息, 身邊大量嘅支持隨之而來, 會議後約一星期, 我地個簽名行動係2星期裹面由 8000 瞬間升到 35,000, 雖然唔知佢地做過咩嚟, 但真係非常感激你地嘅幫忙.

我地唔好俾佢停, 如果唔係政府就會停止繼續提供一個我地需要嘅基建以成為一個綠化都市去對抗地球上最嚴重嘅污染問題.

生日當天,我決定去參加遊行.標題是”維護生態系統”,為了保護我們的環境,現在正是時候由環境保護署去全面禁止使用一次性的塑膠物料.

所以,7月1日, ,維多利亞公園,你們可以一齊黎參與嗎?
