重要更新:
經過我地同一啲統籌者商議過, 都一致認為我地最好將原定嘅計劃改期, 原因係我地舉辦嘅日子剛巧惜逢4月23日一年一度嘅太平清醮, 而4月21日及22日都係公眾假期. 考慮到我地清理好嘅垃圾喺嗰段日子都唔會有相應部門清走, 再者根據以往規定所有非官方嘅舢舨等都唔可以喺嗰段日子駛入塔門直至4月27日,即係話清理好嘅垃圾會嚴重影響太平清醮舉行. 所以, 我地都決定將呢個清理活動改到5月13日星期一.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: After discussing with some of the organisers of the almost 250 year old Da Jiu Festival, we feel that it is best to postpone the Pebbles Beach clean-up because of the close proximity to the start of the festival on April 23rd. Since both April 21st and 22nd are public holidays, there is concern that the rubbish that we collect will not be removed by the relevant authorities from the island’s pier in-time for the festival to start on April 23rd. Moreover, according to festival tradition no unscheduled vessel that arrives on April 22nd or after is permitted to leave Tap Mun until the 27th. This means that the bags of rubbish most likely will not be removed leading to a great disturbance to the festival. Therefore, I have decided to postpone this clean-up effort to the public holiday we all share on Monday May 13th.
