My goal is to make anyone that lies or deceives the paternity of a child a crime in Michigan. If men are accountable for children, women should be accountable as well. You should divulge information if the baby could possible not be your partners.

I was serving in the United States Army when my wife decided to cheat on me 2 months into our marriage. She ended up pregnant with twins. Never telling me they possibly weren't mine. Long story short I had permission to pull the plug and kill a 2-week-old baby that wasn't even mine and I had know idea at the time. I held another man's child as he took his last breath. (1 of 3 men that take a paternity test find out they are not the father). Paternity was only based on her word alone and the true father doesn't even know 10 years later that he has a dead child and one that's still alive. 

Another good point without something personal. The true father should be known for genetic issues that may arise. Heart disease, asthma, cancer and so much more. It's not right to be so selfish just for sex and or money when you put your baby's quality of life at risk and maybe even their life. 

If you read this, I want to say from the bottom of my heart thank you and we can make a change.

This will help a lot of men not face the hurt I do now and also help your baby's quality of life and have everyone have a piece of mind.
