We, the undersigned, pledge our support for the Workers with Autoimmune Ailments Alliance’s College Safety Act and call on both state governments and the federal government to pass this legislation in order to protect the lives of the 23-50 million Americans who have immune system disorders and reduce the ~40,000 deaths per year that are caused by these deadly disorders. 

With around 1 million college students suffering from immune system illnesses, the ability to learn remotely is imperative for them to have a safe education. Today, 77% of autoimmune student who drop out due so not because of their illness, but because their school refuses to help them.

No student deserves to have to drop out of school because they wont provide basic accommodations. By signing this, I pledge my support to:

1. Require colleges to provide remote learning options for their students, especially those who have immune system illnesses making them prone to infection.
2. Allow professors to teach remotely if they need to do so in the name of their health and safety.
