Pass the Afghan Adjustment Act to Help Afghan Immigrants

Pass the Afghan Adjustment Act to Help Afghan Immigrants
The Issue
What does a Afghan Adjustment Act Mean:
It is government policy that makes it easier for Afghan evacuees to obtain permanent residency in the United States after spending a year of parole on US soil.
Who will be affected by the AAA:
Afghan evacuees who do not wish to be deported back to potentially hostile living situations or potentially lose their jobs while waiting on new visas. It will also help future evacuees with achieving permanent residency.
Why is the AAA Necessary:
It will help so many evacuees receive more accessible immigration visas and accommodations. It will reduce stress on asylum and other forms of emergency immigration visa avenues that are already backlogged in applications.
