SOGIE EQUALITY
SOGIE Equality Bill also known as the Anti-Discrimination Bill based on Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression, the longest-running bill under the Senate interpellation period in Philippine history. It was first filed by the late senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago under the 13th Congress of the Philippines. Up until now, it the bill is still under review due to misconceptions about the bill itself.

This petition aims to establish a deeper understanding regarding the SOGIE of every individual. This petition wants to eradicate gender biases and misconceptions about the SOGIE Bill. Focusing on the Sexual Orientation, the first misconception about this bill is that it is only for the members of the LGBTQ+ community when in fact it is for everyone. It acknowledges that gender identity and sexual orientation are fundamental parts of human variety and should not be the basis for prejudice or discrimination. Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and other non-binary and gender non-conforming people are included in the wide range of identities it embraces.
