📢 Meila’s Law Petition Update

I wanted to share a quick update with everyone who has signed, shared, and supported this journey.

The petition continues to spread awareness, but the work has also moved beyond signatures. I’ve begun reaching out to our Ohio State Representatives to discuss the concerns that led to this movement and the changes I believe families deserve.

My goal has always been bigger than one child or one school district. I want to advocate for stronger protections for students with disabilities, better accountability, and improved communication between schools and families. Every child deserves to be safe, included, and treated with dignity.

This process takes time, but conversations are happening. I’m continuing to document everything, communicate with elected officials, and push forward one step at a time.
