A child’s safety history should not disappear between systems.

Important information about the same child may exist separately with DCF, law enforcement, schools, doctors, mental-health providers, child-protection teams, and courts.

When those pieces remain separated, each new incident can be evaluated in isolation instead of as part of a documented history.

Eva’s Law Florida is a citizen proposal for a Child Safety Information Continuity Act, designed to help authorized child-safety professionals recognize relevant patterns earlier.

Eva’s Law would not create a public allegation registry. Allegations would remain distinguishable from findings. Access would be restricted and audited. Families would have appropriate correction and dispute protections. And no custody, arrest, disciplinary, or benefit decision could be based solely on a database flag or allegation.
