We must ensure that every family receives the care, guidance, and oversight they need before it’s too late. Universal wellness visits can save lives — giving professionals the opportunity to identify risks, provide resources, and support parents early on. I’m calling for Emmanuel’s Promise Law, which would:

•  Mandate wellness visits for all newborns, infants, and toddlers
• Require annual wellness checks for all school-age children — not just for physical health, but emotional and family well-being too.
