Hon. Robert Eusebio

Mayor

Pasig City

Dear Mayor Eusebio,

Good day to you!

We, the residents of Greenwoods Executive Village, are reaching out to you with the trust that you will consider our petition with fairness and good judgment.

Pasig TPMO has recently put into effect an odd-even traffic scheme that places a ban on Greenwoods motorists from using the road in front of our village, Sandoval Ave., restricting us from exiting our own Main Gate several days a week.  We have learned that this restriction does not cover the other villages that exit Sandoval Ave., but is, in fact, specifically directed to our village alone.  This is clearly oppressive and unjust.

We understand that the city is trying to manage the traffic situation, but it is not a solution to discriminate against the residents of our village as we are also taxpayers; as well as employees and patrons of several businesses, hospitals, schools, and other establishments in Pasig City; and have just as much right as Pasig residents to make use of public roads.  We’d like to make it clear that we, as a village community, are united in making a stand against this unjust policy.

In light of this, we would like to ask your office to please rescind this discriminatory traffic scheme.  We ask as well that the TPMO work in collaboration with us, the members of the community, to come up with a more egalitarian solution to our traffic situation. We are looking forward to your consideration and immediate action on this.

Best regards,

Residents of Greenwoods Executive Village
