Bullfighting is a primitive blood sport. The Bulls are tortured for roughly 30-45 minutes, suffering traumatic levels of stress and a punitively slow and undignified death. The justification is that the Bulls lead longer lives than meat cows, however, this does not excuse the barbaric way in which it is aggravated, provoked and murdered.

It is also argued that it is a feature of Spanish culture, yet it is banned in several north eastern provinces. Additionally, if we are to dismiss this unconscionable ‘tradition’ of Bullfighting as culture, then we are merely excusing the ignorance of the predecessors to the now progressive culture of Spain.

The bloodthirstiness of Bullfighting denies the Bulls the basic right to life for the sake of cathartic and depraved entertainment. It is a corrupt and debauched aspect to Spanish culture, which must be rectified to save this disgraceful torment which tarnishes Spain’s standing in the eyes of affiliate forward thinking nations.
