Students across Ontario's public colleges were facing significant academic disruption due to the recent support staff strike. This labour action affected essential campus operations, limited access to academic resources, and disrupted the quality and continuity of our education. 

Despite paying full tuition, students are not receiving the full range of services, support, and learning experiences that we were promised at the start of the term. We believe as the student body that it is fair that institutions recognize this impact and offer a partial tuition refund to reflect the loss of access, resources, and support during the period. 

Our goal is to advocate for accountability and fairness- ensuring that students are not financially penalized for circumstances beyond their control.
