It is grossly unfair that the pub industry is again being made the scapegoat for the Covid crisis. Why are you more likely to catch Covid in a pub than in a supermarket or on public transport. Why must you have a substantial meal before you can have a drink? Does eating stop Covid? Of course not! It's positively ludicrous. The pub industry and the hospitality industry as a whole must be allowed to operate on the same level playing fields as restaurants, shops and supermarkets.
