On October 6, 2006, Jay Z came to Ghana to perform. This show remains the biggest show Ghana has ever seen to date. He performed in the Accra Conference Center which overflowed with excited fans. Since his visit, Ghana has longed for a Beyoncé concert after seeing her at the Jay Z concert. The years have birth a generation who has grown up listening to this female legend empowered by the fact that she is black. Her Ghanaian Beyhive currently do all they can to keep up with her by purchasing her songs on iTunes, streaming her music on Apple Music/Tidal/Spotify, watching her music videos on YouTube and following her on social media. The problem, however is the Ghanaian Beyhive feel cheated when Beyoncé goes on tour and leaves Ghana out. We can only watch on enviously as she performs around the world tour after tour. Videos on YouTube are the only way we get to see her perform live. Her only visit to Ghana was a decade ago when she escorted Jay Z here and many fans are eager to see the Queen Bey live in action. A Beyoncé concert in Ghana will endear her even more to fans as she will become more than a person seen on television or the Internet. It is our hope that we gain as much support as we can so that this petition can reach Beyoncé or her team. This will to an extent fulfill the dreams of many Ghanaians who love and cherish her and what she stands for.  Simply put, it would mean a lot if she could bring the Formation World Tour here.
