Please sign to show your support for the development of a concrete skatepark in Martinsburg, WV! Our primary mission is to have a concrete park built in Martinsburg for action sports enthusiasts of all ages, so they have a safe place to ride that is monitored by volunteers and county staff. The goal of our first phase is to educate our county/town officials on the benefits of a public skatepark which are, but not limited to, the reduction of illicit behavior, mental/physical health benefits, the opportunity for people to enjoy a safe environment for wheel sports, reducing damage to private property, and positive economic impact for the community. We hope that through this process, we gain community support and can show municipal officials that we are approaching this project seriously and realistically. We’re very excited to start a new venture to potentially have a new facility created for the residents and tourists of our wild and wonderful panhandle.
