Hello everyone. I really need your help on this. On October 17, 2000, Derek E. Slade killed our son Kharel C. Slade by throwing him out of our 15th floor apartment. Although his sentence is 17 to life, he is now eligible for parole next August, 2015. Im calling on all parents, step parents, guardians, and those that care, to help keep a child murderer behind bars. We must keep our babies safe by keeping people like him off the streets.
