The HCDSB (Halton Catholic District School Board) has decided to make Face Masks mandatory for ALL grades, including very young children in JK - Grade 3.  This was done to protect everyone and to slow the spread of COVID-19. The recommendations from various health departments suggest masks for children aged 2 and over. Sick Kids’ report explain that if classes cannot be smaller and social distancing cannot happen, masks should be worn by the young students. There is a petition going around to reverse this motion; this petition is hoping to keep that motion intact.
