Fort Wayne Community Schools (FWCS), the largest public school district in Indiana, represents almost 31,000 students and over 1,880 teachers. The Red for Ed Action Day rally in Indianapolis on 11/19/2019 serves as the opportunity to advocate for adequate compensation for teachers, changes in teacher evaluations, and a repeal of new, overreaching professional development requirements.  While many public school districts across the state are closing so teachers can attend the rally, FWCS remains open.  This is prohibitive for adequate teacher representation of the largest public school district in the entire state.  CLOSE FWCS ON 11/19/2019!
