Bring back printing and non cursive handwriting in the Australian Curriculum

Bring back printing and non cursive handwriting in the Australian Curriculum
The issue
To see cursive handwriting removed from early childhood classrooms ranging from Kindergarten to year 3 in Australia.
It's confusing for children learning to read. No where else other than in Australian school classrooms, are they exposed to the cursive writing font. It's not in the texts they are learning to read or on the keyboards they learn to type on.
Kindergarten and Pre Primary children especially struggle with the fine motor skills required to hand write cursive letters.
Let's improve literacy skills in our country by having a bit of common sense. Let's teach children to write how they read.
