As our children have been out of school since March, 2020 and the one-year mark quickly approaches, our future generation has been wrongfully striped of a quality education (in which remains to be fully funded). These students (OUR KIDS) are experiencing concerning negative impacts due to the depletion of the crucially needed social interaction with their peers. 

We hereby demand that the Manitowoc Public Schools are re-opened and that all in-person, face-to-face education resumes no later than January 4th, 2021.  In addition, we also expect as parents/guardians and taxpayers to be provided with a strategic re-opening plan and continued communication related. The ignorance affecting our children’s future is no longer acceptable.
