Bethany is in year 2 at Ash Cartwright and Kelsey school and is educated full time there. The school want her to be educated in school part time from September until we find her an alternative school, against our wishes. Bethany was born with CHARGE Syndrome and has surpassed the expectation of many doctors. B as she is most commonly known has been at the school since she was three and is soon to be going up to the juniors. B has two full time support workers who love her and have seen her grow and achieve so much. Until a couple of years ago B would need help walking with a frame, she then went on to just holding hands to this year running on her own in the school sports day!
The Church of England School always talks about inclusivity, community and perseverance. Please sign our petition and prove to the school that Bethany is an asset to them and deserves a full time education at the school.
