At the May 11th School board meeting, new school start times were proposed. There was no teacher or parent input with these changes. Sign this petition AGAINST these changes and to keep the original start times.

Elementary School: 7:30 am - 2:00 pm (from: 9:40 pm - 4:05 pm)

Middle School: 8:50 am - 3:20 pm (remains the same)

High School: 9:40 am - 4:05 pm (from: 7:30 am-2:00 pm)

Although they are saying this is to provide our youngest kids transportation to school since 85% of ES student take the bus, they are neglecting what is happening with these students after school. There are no MS or HS students to watch them and most parents will still be at work. That only leaves out of school care which means a cost that some families do not have.

Teacher's will not be allowed to have ES students in their MS and HS classrooms, claiming a liability issue (unrelated to Covid, so this will not change). In previous years, this has been a non-issue since ES students were the last to arrive, ensuring they were cared for.

Please sign the petition to keep our school start times from the 2019-2020 school year.
