Pardon Billy the Kid.

Pardon Billy the Kid.
The Issue
Sign a Petition to help give Billy the pardon he was promised. It isn’t to destroy, but preserve the historical promise made to William H Bonney by Governor Lew Wallace. Billy was tried under Judge Warren Bristol which breaks Billy’s 6 Amendment Right. Judge Bristol was a former member of the corrupt Santa Fe Ring. Judge Bristol intentionally set up a jury to testify against Billy the Kid. The Reason this breaks his 6 Amendment Right is because the crime he was charged with was the Murder of Sheriff William Brady, the Alleged Murderer of John Tunstall in Cold Blood. Brady was ambushed and shot dead by the Regulators on April 1, 1878.
Although Bonney’s Lawyer, A.J. Fountain provided evidence that Billy did not fire the round that killed Brady, A promised and confirmed pardon from Governor Lew Wallace, and mostly self defense in the Lincoln County War that was framed “MURDER”. Judge Warren Bristol arrogantly dismissed Fountain’s statements and got his biast jury to testify against Billy and most of this set up jury was Billy’s enemies, accept for Susan McSween, at the time was Widow to Alexander McSween, killed in the Battle of Lincoln. The Reason this breaks Bonney’s 5th & 6th Amendment right is that he was tried in Dona Aña County NM, when he was charged for a crime that took place in Lincoln County and Judge Warren Bristol’s actions breaks Billy’s 5th Amendment right by a Fair Trial and Innocent until Proven Guilty. Billy was unfairly sentenced to Death by Hanging and was sent back to Lincoln to hang, Bonney would escape taking the lives of 2 officers, this falls under the order of unlawful custody in the county because he was never tried in the county of Lincoln, nor the District of the Territory.
With the Help of todays generation of Cowboys and Western lovers. Let’s give Billy the pardon he was Promised by Wallace.
On February 18, 1878, John Henry Tunstall, a local Rancher was shot dead by the corrupt government system, known to all as The Santa Fe Ring. The Santa Fe Ring was a group of wealthy elites who were upholding biast and favoritist courts within the Districts of the Territory of New Mexico. Tunstall and his Lawyer Alexander McSween were working on building a business in Lincoln to overpower “The House”, ran by ex-army soldiers Laurence Murphy and his partner James.J.Dolan. Tunstall owned a property about 30 miles southeast of Lincoln, located along the Rio Felix. Tunstall had hired hands who helped him succeed, known as the Regulators. This would break out as the Lincoln County War and in the end, every living member of the Regulators where pardoned, except for Billy the Kid.

When the Regulators were suppressed and the Santa Fe Ring collapsed. Every involved party was pardoned for the Crimes committed before and during the Alleged Lincoln County War. Billy was the one not pardoned, he was also framed for all the murders that took place in the Range War.
