My son Joshua Rashaun Hancock was denied parole because of a tattoo they state is a gang tat but my son is not and never has been gang associated. His tattoo "DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR", He got that tattoo for his loyalty to his FAMILY . This tattoo is also a military tattoo. We are extremely close. All of my son's tattoos are spiritual. My son needs and deserves a second chance. If he has to come home under he strictest of circumstances he will abided by them. Joshua has gotten several certificates while incarcerated. He follows all laws and rules and he will continue this behavior upon release. He will reside in his own bedroom with my husband Jerry Hughey and myself. We will be the only three living here. He will attend Appalachee shoals MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH with his family. He will go back to his job at Wal-Mart distribution center. He will enroll back into  North Georgia which the judge put that in his condition upon release that he finishes school. He also is forklift drive certified. I have MS and with that I have stress seizures. My baby brother who help raise Josh and has always been that male influances in his life is suffering with  4th stage cancer. I know the board does not make emotional grants but it is my PRAYER that it is God's will to give my son another chance. You can release him to my husband and myself I will stand on these facts that my son is truly remorseful and swears to not so much as jaywalk nor speed in a car when he comes home.
