The False Prince is a middle grade teen novel written by the outstanding author Jennifer A. Nielsen. This portrays a young boy named Sage (about the age of fourteen) who must compete with three other boys his age to impersonate the supposed dead Prince Jaron of Carthya. It is a good book for adaptation because it features a diverse cast of characters and characters of all genders. 

It is a lovely book which would have a great setting for a movie. It would be pleasing to the eye to watch.
