This letter is a symbol of deep sympathy and respect for the martyrs of the Punjabi speaking community and the country, who sacrificed their lives, to protect their religion and country during the partition of 1947. The following main points are presented in it:

1. Tragedy of partition of 1947: Lakhs of people of Punjabi speaking community were martyred during partition, but no national level martyr memorial was built in their memory.

2. Formation of Panchanad Committee: All India Panchanad Martyrs Memorial Committee was formed with the aim of building a grand memorial in the memory of those martyrs. For this there were movements and efforts at various levels of the society.

3. Request to Haryana Government: In 2008, the committee requested the then Chief Minister of Haryana to allot 100 acres of land in Kurukshetra. Despite promises, no progress was made until 2014.

4. Sarvapitri Tribute Meetings: From 2008 to 2010, large-scale tribute meetings were organized, which were attended by thousands of devotees. These programs set an example of unity in the society.

5. Prime Minister's Initiative: Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a historic step towards honoring those martyrs by declaring Partition Horrors Memorial Day (14 August) in 2021.

6. Construction of a grand Punjabi Dham: An appeal is being made again for the demand of building a grand martyr memorial named "Punjabi Dham" in Kurukshetra. The society has also assured cooperation for money and resources.

Your Appeal: This letter seeks united cooperation and support from the government and society to build this historical monument, so that the memory of the martyrs can be kept alive for future generations.

Need:

 cooperation of the government.

United effort of the society.

Arrangement of land and money for the construction of the memorial.

This letter is not only a demand but also an inspiration to express gratitude to the martyrs and immortalize their sacrifice.
