Palmer Township Opposes the Mega Warehouse

Palmer Township Opposes the Mega Warehouse
The Issue
The Palmer Township Board of Supervisors we urge you to publicly oppose the proposed building of a 1 million square-foot warehouse with entrances on Wood Avenue and Hackett Avenue. The proposal envisions traffic being routed, in part, through Palmer Township at the 25th St. intersection of Route 22. This intersection is already over-utilized with traffic in a main artery into Palmer Township. Due to various inadequately addressed concerns, including decreased air quality, increased dangerous flooding, increased traffic, increased noise pollution, destruction of wetlands, geological concerns and other reasons we support the efforts to deny this proposal. We encourage efforts for multi community engagement regarding development projects that affect the quality of life of the residents of Palmer Township, Wilson Borough, Forks Township, and the City of Easton.
