The Issue

The trust between an organization's board of directors and its members is both precious and vital. It is meant to be built on transparency, accountability, and a shared commitment to the organization’s core values. Yet, recent experiences have left me, and many others, questioning the integrity and actions of certain board members within our own organization of Palm Beach Posse, Inc.

Concerns have surfaced regarding the conduct of some directors of Palm Beach Posse, Inc., pointing to several unsettling allegations. These issues include, but are not limited to: Lack of transparency in board deliberations and financial reporting; Alledged withholding or alteration of information provided to members; Alledged false, inconsistent, or contradictory statements made by certain directors; Perceived retaliation or unfair treatment toward members raising questions or objections; Decisions believed to be outside or contrary to the organization's established procedures, inherited rules and policies from Palm Beach County Mounted Posse, mission, articles and/or bylaws (including Florida statues for nonprofit procedures). In addition, there are suspected conflicts of interest, misuse of authority, or other actions perceived by members as potential corruption or misconduct. General concerns of possible misconduct or unethical behavior requiring formal review.

The situation demands immediate attention, as the continued confidence and support of the membership hinge on the conduct of its leadership. It is crucial that we thoroughly review these allegations in a transparent and structured manner to maintain the integrity of our organization.

Therefore, I urge you to join me in calling for a special meeting of the members. Set to be held Sunday December 28th, 2025 from 3:00-5:00pm at the Palm Beach County Acreage Branch Library. If you are unable to attend this meeting in person, zoom will be set up for members to attend via video. This meeting will ensure that we have an open forum to address these issues, provide clarity, and consider the removal of directors whose actions may compromise our principles and mission. If removal of directors is requested by the minimum requirement of 10% membership vote, new directors shall be elected at said meeting.

Our organization deserves a leadership that exemplifies ethical behavior and honors its commitments to its members. By signing this petition, you are voicing the need for accountability and safeguarding the values we uphold. Please sign and support this crucial call for action.
