UNESCO has rejected an entire collection of 1,600 Palestine posters for consideration by the Memory of the World (M0W) program. It did so because, according to the Palestine Delegation to UNESCO, it considers 81 of the posters "antisemitic". Rather than allow for the removal or substitution of the 81 posters in question UNESCO informed the Delegation that it would reject the nomination "with or without" changes. This is a direct violation of MoW's own rules which state that "it does not take part in historical disputes" (Palestine-Israel in this case). Having "partnered" with the International Alliance for Holocaust Alliance (IHRA) it is apparent that UNESCO has taken sides and has chosen to practice anti-Palestinian "memoricide" - the willful erasure of the Palestinian people's authentic history, culture, art and identity.
