Pacifica Graduate Institute offers one of kind experiential learning in depth psychology, mythological studies, and the humanities across two campuses in Carpinteria, CA. Pacifica students are part of cohorts--small groups that advance through the program together. Cohorts do very personal work together and deepen their connections during residential intensives where they stay overnight on campus.

Like many educational institutions, Pacifica moved its classes exclusively online at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020. Students grieved the loss of in person instruction, experiential learning, and the ability to process course material alongside their cohort.

While the initial closure of Pacifica's campus was an appropriate response to the gravity of the situation Pacifica announced on June 25, 2021 that they will not return to in person instruction for the remainder of 2021, despite the fact that the state of California officially reopened June 15, 2021. The following signatures represent those who support Pacifica Graduate Institute reopening its campus to its students with health and safety measures in place.
