As Pace Nursing Students we hope to make a change in this program to help us be successful in the future of this program and our future careers. This nursing program has recently changed the exam average to a 77% for all required nursing courses. This has already led to people transferring, dropping out of the program, and be forced to add another year to their schooling. As a nursing community we understand the importance of us doing well in our classes however, the exam average is extremely unrealistic. Already Pace is a very expensive school, by failing a student for not making an exam average can cost more money and a future they hoped to have. Not only have the current students of the nursing program and to deal with online courses and labs but now we have to deal with an exam average that could cost us failing out of the program. This program has made several changes in the past to help students be great nurses but we believe it is hurting our education and our mental status. Nursing is supposed to be something all would enjoy and excel in because of Pace's excellent educational opportunities. However, Pace has allowed students to fail in unfair circumstances and when contacted have done little to no help. Together we stand in the hope to create change and notify Paces Nursing Program of the corruptness in this education program.
