The Western PA SxS & ATV Riders hereby request the support of the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors and the Pennsylvania State Legislature for legislative/directive that the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources identify and designate more appropriate trails on PA State Forest Land of which, and over which, the operation of all-terrain vehicles be permitted in the state of Pennsylvania.  Currently, there are approximately 250 trail miles on State land spread out across the state, 250 trail miles divided among Rock Run and Anthracite Off-road Adventure Area, (additional costs to ATV enthusiasts to ride at these two parks) and smaller private riding facilities with no large amounts of trails to speak of.  Designating more ATV trails will benefit over 190,000 registered ATV enthusiasts in Pennsylvania.  Our registration money should be put to use for our own sport.
