Islanders deserve to cross the Confederation Bridge 'Toll Free'. The fact that we all live on this beautiful Island, with it's all 'good' and 'bad' factors, does not mean that we should be 'punished' for just being an Islander. How many Islanders have to cross this bridge to get medical help? To do usual business? To visit their relatives outside PEI? To study?

If you all ever had just one of the questions above, please sign this petition, so we can get enough votes and support from PEI elected representatives to Canadian Parliament and take this petition to Canadian Parliament to remove Confederation Bridge toll for all PEI Islanders.

I'm quoting one of the Senators Mr. Percy Downe who recently argued that: "Islanders shouldn’t have to settle for a discount. I think all Canadians have to be treated equally and if people are getting a bridge paid fully by the Government of Canada in Montreal why are we and other Canadians using the bridge to and from Prince Edward Island paying a toll. There is an element of unfairness to it.’’"It should be free, period."
