I was scrolling through my instagram feed one day, laughing at the many memes that appeared in front of my eyes. As I was scrolling, I saw a meme posted by my favourite meme account, "wackcat". "Oh...", I thought to myself, "This better be a good meme". And there I saw it. Staring right through my eyes into my soul. The best meme that has ever come into existence. What was the meme? Well, it showed a lion on a bicycle getting some sick air-time, with the caption saying, "GUYS IMAGINE IF ALGEBRA WAS SPELT ALGEBRUH, THAT WOULD BE FUNNY I THINK". I died from laughter. In a day and age where memes are becoming staler and staler, this meme revitalized the meme drought.

After laughing for a couple days, I started to think about the meme, and the message it conveyed. I always wondered why "algebra" was spelt that way, but now, I know better. It's all because of how it sounds. If you say "algebra" the way it's spelled, then you would say something like: algebrah (the "ah" part sounds like AAAAAAAAAH like you're screaming you know?). But if you say "algebruh" the way it's spelled, then it would sound like: algebruh (basically the same way we say "algebra" in the present day). It just makes more sense. I wouldn't want to be in math class just for the teacher to say, "Ok class, today we'll be doing some algebrAAAAAAAAAAH."
