Hello, 

I am a long time Bloomington, Normal resident. I am a mother of 4 children, I am proud member of my community and the people in it  for the most part but the reason I am here today is because of Carol at Owens Nursery in Bloomington, Il. My son was hired on 4/9/2020. He was mentally ill, He worked his hardest and was so happy to have had found a job in time when it was so hard due to covid 19. He worked half the day that day and was very impressed with he work he had achieved and was so confident. Carol from Owens  ( his manager ) came to him and informed that he did a terrible job, he was slow, was not good enough for Owens and do not come back after lunch. My son was 24 when he took his like CAROL. I hope you read this, I hope you understand he left feeling worthless because you told him that. I hope you know my family did all we could so Christopher James Fluty (Shields ) DO NOT FORGET THAT NAME knew his worth. And his worth was amazing. He was the most amazing, kind, creative, HARD WORKER and you destroyed that. He crushed his soul. I will not stop until she is fired. My Son is not the only one. She had spent over 25 years doing this others. THIS MUST STOP. She must understand that not everyone in the world is equipped to handle her cruelty. Please sign this and Fight for Chris.
