Stop the Clontarf Sea Wall and Apartments in St. Anne's Park

Stop the Clontarf Sea Wall and Apartments in St. Anne's Park
The Issue
Dublin City Council (DCC) is currently building a horrendously ugly sea wall along the promenade in Sutton and Clontarf as part of what it calls "flood defences." The contractors have already started the work. Neither people with disabilities in wheelchairs nor motorists will be able to see the seaview once the wall is up. We all know that once the wall is up it won't come down. We want work to stop on the wall until proper public consultation has taken place. DCC has also given planning permission for the development of nearly 400 apartments in land overlooking St. Anne's Park. This land is used by children for sporting purposes. The apartments will be an eyesore in this magnificent public park. We want no further progress on the site until proper public consultation has taken place.
