On 2010, the US Supreme Court sided with Citizens United in the Citizens United vs Federal Election Commission (FEC) ruling.

This allowed corporations to donate to election campaigns. This has allowed multiple corporations and PACs to donate to campaigns completely anonymously, greatly affecting the outcome of our elections.

Both Democratic and Republican candidates get money from these donors, meaning that regardless of party, many of our politicians owe their spot to companies.

Overall, this makes politicians care more about companies than us, the people. In order to create fairer elections where we know what candidates stand for, we urge the US Supreme Court to overturn their decision and restore power to the people.
