Food Outlets across India are selling food at prices as per their own wishes. A simple burger is sold at 350 rs at most of the places. Food Outlets like Behrouz Biryani have increased prices by 70% lately. A simple 1 serve biryani which previously cost Rs. 325 and weighed less than 500g, is now priced at Rs. 485  in no time. There are so many restaurants out there that have been doing same. The problem is not limited to specific items, as fast food items like Pizza's, burgers, milkshakes or even simple indian curries are overpriced especially in tier-1 cities across India.

A simple middle class person cannot afford normal food at such exorbitant prices. Restaurants on food delivery platforms such as Swiggy and Zomato are hiking up prices without any accountability.

 If this issue remains unchecked, it could lead to a dire future. It is crucial to raise our voices against this exploitation of consumer rights.
