OUR SCHOOLS ARE NOT FOR SALE, STOP THE ILLEGAL ADMISSION OF UNDOCUMENTED FOREIGNERS
The Issue
The March and March Movement is not backing down. The Movement is taking a stand.
The Department of Basic Education has not been following the laws of our country for a long time. While South African children struggle to find space in classrooms and our taxpayers fund the infrastructure, the government is prioritizing undocumented foreign nationals. The Department of Basic Education is supposed to help our children, not illegal foreign nationals.
WHY THIS MATTERS:
The Immigration Act No. 13 of 2002 is clear, aiding and abetting illegal foreigners is a crime. Our schools are being used to protect parents who are in South Africa illegally from getting in trouble. This is not a mistake in the way things are done. It is actually, against the law. It hurts the future of every single South African child. The Immigration Act No. 13 Of 2002 is supposed to be followed.
We want the following things to happen:
Strict rules must be followed: schools have to check if every learner who is not a citizen is in the country legally like the Immigration Act says.
We think that South African children should come first. The money we pay in taxes should help our citizens.
We need this meeting to happen soon as possible so that South African children can get the help they need. Schools should be for South African children not for people who are illegal and not supposed to be here. Our taxes should be used to make life better, for us not for illegal foreigners.
No More Scams: Stop the illegal "placement fees" and "levies" taken by scammers.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
The state is sleeping, but MAM is awake. Sign our petition for the future of our children and the integrity of our borders.
