Our brother Tom deserves to adopt Autumn, the puppy our family is fostering. Tom doesn’t like people to know this about him, but under his surly exterior he has a heart of gold. He’s all grouchy on the outside but those close to him know what an absolute squish ball he is. He’s thoughtful and generous and kind even though everyone endlessly annoys him. 
Tom’s job just laid him off after 18   years and unsurprisingly he was feeling pretty down about it. Knowing how much he loves dogs our parents brought home a puppy to foster to cheer him up. It should be noted at this point that literally every single animal ever “fostered” by any member of our family stayed forever. 
Autumn hit the jackpot of foster families. She was a scrawny puppy found wandering the streets of Texas and when Tom picked her up she was so stank he called her Trash Goblin. 
Tom was smiling again. He’s been doting on her, spending time playing with her  and training her instead of shut up in his room. He lights up when he sees her and obviously totally loves her. Autumn makes him happier than anything has in years and as his sisters we feel it would be detrimental and cruel to separate them. All our parents have to do is say yes and if everyone is like “let tom keep autumn” they can’t say no to the entire internet, right? 
Full disclosure, there’s already four dogs in the family but we hardly see how that’s relevant
