Our Lady of Fatima University made an announcement that the graduation ceremony will be postponed last March 13, 2020. A congratulatory message was posted April 2, 2020 addressed to the graduates of the academic year. The details for the special summer term were released last May and enrollment for the summer classes and regular school year resumed.

However, Our Lady of Fatima University has not provided any update on the release of the documents of the graduating students. They have opened their offices for payments, inquiries, and enrollment but no answer in relation to the fate of the students who has completed their graduation requirements. The classes were suspended on the last day of the clearance submission and students were able to complete them in time. OLFU stated that an extension will be provided to those who failed to complete their requirements but no information has been provided up until now.

The university has moved on and accepted enrollees, transferees, and no students but are ignoring the needs of their graduates. It has been almost 4 months since the quarantine began and the Philippines started to adapt to the new normal. Still, the graduates of 2020 are left with no idea, no response from the registrar's office, no communication from the administration on their fate.

Graduates do understand that a ceremony is not feasible due to the pandemic but at least provide us with our documents that we require in order to get jobs. Some would even want to pursue graduate courses but because of the negligence of the school, we are all stuck in a rut.

Please provide us options and allow us to claim our documents. We have earned our right to get at least a proof that we have successfully completed our degree.

Thank you.
