A couple of communication students are interested in taking the Event Planning course, however, this course rarely opens, and it is counted for the minor not the major. What we want is to open this course and make it count as a departmental elective. This course is more important to us than some of the departmental electives offered. It helps us for the work field later after graduation especially that some of us are considering continuing in the field of event planning.
