There are hundreds of Ottawa city owned fields to play soccer.  I would like at least one field designated to play Schlammball. Schlammball is a new sport invented in Ottawa that is a mix of soccer and handball. We need a place to play this awesome new game. Soccer is a great game but it shouldn't get ALL the city owned space.
The city of Ottawa can easily designate one field to Schlammball so the lines required for the game can stay on the field and not interfere with soccer players.
City owned parks should be for people to play the games that they love. Right now all these soccer fields are just for making money for the people involved in running soccer clubs.
With enough people signing this petition I believe we can make this happen. Then, Schlammball will finally be able to be played. Please sign this petition and share it so we can ask the city to designate a field to play Schlammball.
