OSL employees who work in a Walmart store do not receive the 10% store discount (or any other discounts) that other Walmart employees are entitled to. OSL Retail Services is in a partnership agreement with Walmart. The current agreement states that OSL-Walmart employees are not intended to assist with Walmart products aside from phones/phone related items. This however is not the way it plays out in the OSL-Walmart employee workspace.

As a courtesy to our lovely Walmart customers, we(OSL-Walmart employees) help out to the best of our abilities in the absence of Walmart store employees. On the daily, we direct Walmart customers in order to help them navigate the store(for non-phone related products). We also find ourselves assisting the busy Walmart staff by ringing up non-phone related Walmart merchandise. (we do not make commission on those sales.) This petition is focused on EQUALITY before anything else(e.g. discounts, benefits, etc.). I think it is fair to say that OSL employees who physically work at a Walmart store are EQUAL to other Walmart store employees. OSL employees at Walmart work together, as a team with Walmart's store employees to give our valued customers the best in-store experience possible. Why shouldn't Walmart employee discounts apply to Walmart’s OSL employees?
