Bring back Mr. Les Wilkins

Bring back Mr. Les Wilkins
The Issue
As a group of Oshwal Academy Mombasa senior students, we are very determined to try and persuade the Oshwal Education and Relief Board to bring back our ex-head of senior school who just recently was, as we believe, wrongfully dismissed from his job. From our perspective, Mr. Les is a very hard working, dedicated, and straightforward person when it comes to doing his job at Oshwal Academy Mombasa.
I can frankly say that Mr. Wilkins has a diverse range of working methods by which he can keep the senior school running as smooth as ever. He has a way of understanding and connecting with students which builds a friendship where problems can easily be communicated and sorted out. Likewise he is also very point blank when it comes to putting a message through, and will discipline any student disregarding their relationship with him in accordance to the action carried. An example can be how intent he was on getting everyone to school on time, and the result was that all those students arriving late are now in on time for registration.
Mr. Wilkins has been a man of his word, and has taken drastic measures to bring about beneficial changes and improvements to the school. He has really promoted, and brought back the level of respect for prefects, and took them on a retreat for proper training. Would any other head of senior school even think of this? He took the initiative to put up posters and decorate the notice boards with events that took place and he would take any opportunity available to accompany students engaging in trips. He is the most uplifting and motivational person as he used to go ahead and push forward and support our football teams whenever we played a match, and he even organised a school swimming team committee. He has promoted taking part in charity events and never refused but reformed, may the need arise, charity groups plans and always showed up to help out with the charity event. Most of all he is environment friendly and really made sure that now there is barely any litter around the school. His speeches? Oh they are always so gripping, compelling and absorbing and never fail to leave the students with something new to think about and reflect on for the weekend.
Isn't it so clear how important this man is for the students of OAM? We as a school need a head of senior school such who will boost the senior school's performance in every aspect possible, and we believe that Mr. Wilkins is the one suited for the job. Let us not lie to you, it is really surprising how much he values the school and prioritises his job. He has not been even a second late any day of his two term long stay, and I can assure you that he took the time to greet students arriving to school in the mornings, and knew each and every students name by the second week of his arrival.
Taking a different approach at this, we believe that continuously changing head of senior schools is a matter of contemplation. It arouses lack of order in the school; different ideas for certain procedures, different approaches to situations that need to be reacted to urgently and adopting a new change that would take a while to digest.
All in all, Mr. Wilkins is a pure soul with the greatest of intentions. He is a man of integrity, admiration and surely someone that can be looked up to. He adopted to our school style, and took us as his children, and we took him as our second father even out of school. This level if intimacy as I believe, is what is needed to understand the students. So we beg of you, students, parents and teachers, please leave a comment to support this motive for the benefit of the school and students.
